Sept. 25, 1998
We’re live with hosts Mark Weight and Dr. McMann. They quickly discuss last week’s events and say John Leary, the new VP, will be giving a statement sometime tonight. We head to the ring.
Adrian Lucas vs. Python
High-flying moves by Python highlight this match. Lucas counters with power moves, but he can’t pin Python. Near the end of the match, Lowlife shows up at ringside and goes into the stands. Lucas hits a roadkiller and gets the pin.
Zohar vs. The Prowler
Hard-hitting match. The Prowler is about to get a pin after nailing an inverted suplex from the top rope when Fred Verge runs in and attacks The Prowler. Alley runs in for the save. Alley and Zohar square off. Zohar and Verge leave the ring after Nihilist runs down.
Kevin Mash vs. Monkeywrench
Monkeywrench is dominant at first, but Mash comes back. After Mo nails the neckwrencher, Lowlife runs into the ring and attacks both. He shows off a new move. It appears he is about to nail a piledriver, but Lowlife releases and drops both men onto their head.
No contest.
Back from commercial, announcers say both Mash and Monkeywrench were taken out on stretchers. Lowlife ran into the audience to evade police, who are now looking for him.
Alley vs. Crusher
Crusher dominates. He hits the gorilla splat. But Zohar runs in and assaults Alley after pushing Crusher aside. Crusher attacks Zohar. Nihilist and the Prowler run in and beat up Crusher and Zohar. They help Alley out of the ring. Alley wins by DQ.
Screwed out of a rematch
Mark Weight is in the ring and calls out John Leary. Weight reviews the XWL title situation and wants to know what happens now. Leary says he understands Hack Viciously and Serpent didn't expect this situation. He says Chris and Victor Slaughter are already signed for next week, but nothing is scheduled for Serpent or Hack now. He says they screwed themselves out of a rematch.
Serpent runs to the ring. He says he is the number one contender. Hack Viciously runs out and says he wants a rematch.
Leary says too bad. Hack is about to punch Leary, but Serpent stops him.
Chris Slaughter walks to the ring. He thanks the fans and says he’ll gladly take on either one of them tonight since they have better speaking skills than wrestling talent. Serpent and Hack attack Slaughter.
After the attack, Serpent and Hack stare at each other.
Raider vs. Victor Slaughter ©
--TV Title--
Raider dominates from the start with suplex after suplex. Magnus Murray Head and Puncture run in for the save and the three pound Raider. Raider wins by DQ.
Daniel Ryder + Bram Corbett vs. Bat + Edan LePage
Serpent and Hack Viciously walk down together during the match. Bat, who has yet to get into the match, looks at them nervously. They pull him off the apron while the referee is distracted by the action in the ring, beat him and carry him up the aisle and leave. LePage is left alone. LePage gets the pin after knocking Ryder and Corbett's heads together.
