"Welcome to the Xtreme Wrestling League. Hello everyone, I am Mark Weight. Now, you may be saying to yourself, what is the XWL? Well, I'm going to tell you. The XWL wants to be the most violent and innovative wrestling company on the planet. This company which began earlier this year has three championship belts. Tag team, television and heavyweight. Tonight we’ll see who holds the belts, and you will meet the future of this industry.

"1998, the year of change in wrestling. But year isn’t full of change. The summer of hate is in full swing. And you’re sitting in your house or apartment or at some bar getting drunk and thinking, who the hell is this guy on my TV. Well, get used to my face people. I am the real deal. I am the XWL champion. I was a big part of getting this company going. You people are gonna turn on your TV week after week just to see what I will do next. To see what I will say to put those boys in Stamford to shame.

"We got Stone Cold and Old Man Hogan at the top of this sport. Neither one of them has half the talent I do. Of course, Hogan never had any talent to start with. Austin is a lot like me in some ways. The one thing he lacks is killer instinct. Plus he’s one piledriver away from an ended career. Fuck the big two and that little jabroni company that claims to be extreme, ECW. I got two words for you guys. Fuck off.

"You boys claim to be extreme, yet, week after week, all you do is break a couple of tables and spill a little blood. You put on a good show, but we are the real extreme wrestling company. You’ve sucked since last year started. That’s why I created this company. To rekindle a style of wrestling you burnt out in less than two years!

"And to all you fans out there. Now you’ve heard I’ve got some big balls on me. Guess what? You ain’t heard nothing yet. Get ready for your world to be turned upside down. We’re bringing violence straight to you. None of this watered down, let’s save if for the pay-per-view bullshit. Week after week, we are going to put our bodies on the line because, whether we like it or not, we’re here to entertain you. I could give a damn about you, but I’ve got way too many critics who say I’m washed up. I’ve got a fire burning inside me now to bring this company to number one by any means necessary.

"Maybe one day we’ll do a pay-per-view. I could care less. But when you watch me beat the crap out of wrestler after wrestler, you will know I am the best in this sport. Now. Not 10 years ago. Not a future star. I’m here now to kick everyone’s ass. Not to have a cool slogan. Not to have my fucking speech written for me. Not to sit on my ass collecting a fat check. To defend this title and make it the only belt worth a damn in the world. To make people come into this world just to get this belt because it means so much around the globe. Try to take it from me if you’ve got the balls."
