March 16, 1999

We're live with hosts Mark Weight, Dr. McMann and Michael Hawk.

FNL Expanding

Before heading to the ring we go to prerecorded comments from President John Leary. Leary says due to the popularity of XWL on EBN, he says starting in April, each week Friday Night Live will be on the air for two hours. Says he looks forward to entertaining XWL fans in coming months.

D.J. Torrid vs. Spector ©
--TV title match--

Spector is impressive early. D.J. moves the fight outside and backdrops Spector into the first row. After a brawl, the two exchange near falls until Spector catches D.J. on the top rope and nails the respector and gets the pin.

Caught on tape...again

Go to b/w security camera as Electro stands over a busted open Heat Seeker. Electro spits on Heat and walks away.

Video recap of National Championship tournament.

Edan LePage vs. Victor Slaughter

LePage moves slow but corners Slaughter and beats him down. Slaughter comes back and attacks LePage's back, slamming and suplexing the big man. Slaughter eventually spikes LePage with a cruficifix powerbomb. LePage can't kick out until after the three count.

Dead End vs. Heat Seeker
--National Title Tournament, Round 1--

Despite his injuries, Heat gives it all and nearly pins Dead End early. Dead End holds on and opens Heat's wound. He wears down Heat with power moves and tries for the powerbomb, but Heat slips out and puts on the sharpshooter. Dead End powers out on a tired Heat. Heat tries again, but Dead Emd small packages Heat for the pin.

A Title Shot, A Diabetic Shot, My Dog Shot

Mark Weight is in the ring and calls out Adrian Lucas. Lucas says he put Crusher on the shelf and says there is nobody left to compete with. He calls the Death Stalkers disillusioned warm up acts and says nobody there deserves a shot. Weight asks about Raider. Lucas ignores Weight.

Lucas says he is a fighting champion and unlike old-timers like Serpent, Crusher, and Chris Slaughter he plans to defend his title not just once a month, but starting next Friday. Says he will face Edan LePage.

Victor Slaughter comes to the ring. Says he just kicked LePage's ass all around the ring and that he deserves the shot. Lucas says the only shot Slaughter needs at his age is a diabetic insulin shot. Or, the other kind, a dick up his ass. Slaughter attacks Lucas and they brawl.

Banned from the building? Yeah, right...

(Earlier tonight)

John Leary, behind security, says Kevin Mash and Hack Viciously can't come in the wrestler's entrance because they are not scheduled for a match.

Back live, the fans erupt as Mash and Viciously walk down the stairs to two empty seats at front row center.

Bram Corbett vs. Orion

Orion and Mash hug before the match. Corbett attacks Orion on the floor and tosses him into the fans. Corbett performs a huraconrana roll up on the floor, then repeatedly punches Orion. Corbett gets a chair and rams it into Orion's throat.

Mash holds up a sign: Jobber World Order, Starring Bram Corbett and Chris Slaughter.

Corbett brings a chair into the ring and bashes Orion's head. Orion blocks a second shot and TWAs Corbett. Orion gets up after an eight count. Orion waves to the fans, motioning for them to do something. He looks at Viciously and Mash, who toss in their chairs. A wave of chairs fly into the ring, nailing both guys.

Orion tosses Corbett over the top rope and spreads the chairs all over the ring so the mat is completely covered. Orion puts Corbett on the top rope. Orion gets behind Corbett, and with his knees on Corbett's back, leans forward. Corbett smacks the chairs.

Security runs down and guards Mash and Viciously and police go into the ring and spray Corbett with pepper spray and brutally cuff him. The cops then point to security with their billie clubs (or is is Mash and Viciously they pointed at). The cops then Rodney King Orion.
