Brandon Ramos vs. Trey Vincent

Menace 1
Nov. 10, 2003

Trey Vincent"Born in the USA" blasted across the Nassau Coliseum, and the moment it did the fans went wild with cheers. The theme song may have been a very old song, but the man who would be stepping through the curtain was a name known across the state of New York. He was apart of one of the most famous Indy-promotions in New York called GCW, Global Championship Wrestling, and was also apart of such federations like jOlt Wrestling and universal Wrestling. He was none other than the former member of Morally Correct, Brandon Ramos.

The veteran of the wrestling world made his way past the curtains and to the entrance ramp. He was dressed in his black adidas pants, along with his black shoes, obviously not set to wrestle tonight. Who could forget the verbal bashing he was given by Trey Vincent, the arrogant wrestler from PIW? Brandon Ramos had been in the business for nearly twenty-seven years, starting the age of 21. He was 48 now, a veteran of the sport, and he would be damned if some sports entertainer was going to bash the past of wrestling, and himself. Ramos stepped upon the steps and heard the fans cheering wildly for the former member of Morally Correct. Brandon Ramos slapped a few more hands as he slowly reached over to the rope and brought himself into the ring. He was not a flashy man, he was just a veteran, and simply raised his two fists in the air and leaned up against the corner.

"All Hail the New Flesh" hit the PA System, and the fans gave a loud pop for the former PIW star that was ready to make his way to the ring. Trey Vincent, the Franchise Player, didn’t waste anytime in showing himself to the crowd, as he smiled wide and raised his arms up in the air. His eyes, hidden by the sunglasses, were wide with excitement, as he strolled his way to the ring. TV refused to slap a few hands, after all…who knows where THOSE hands have been? TV simply brushed past the fans (which gained a bit of heel heat) as he entered the ring. Immediately following his entrance into a WWC ring, he quickly asked for a microphone, and got what he wanted.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the great state of New York," the fans cheered wildly, "A state where crime runs wild, and a state where whores are at a surplus," and there came the heel heat for Trey Vincent, "I would like all of you Long Island folk to take a good look at my opponent. He is nothing more than a hyped up wrestler from days past, a man who doesn’t know jack squat about a real offensive move in the wrestling world today"

"I mean look at this old timer…do you really think he could commit a decent vertical suplex?" the fans jeered at TV’s assumption, as Brandon Ramos just shook his head, "Do you think an old man like this could perform a decent top rope maneuver? Do you think that an old wrinkly bastard like him could perform any sort of technical or powerful move to a man like me?" the fans began to jeer TV, as Ramos just stared blankly at Trey Vincent.

"In all honesty, this match will be no better than The Rock versus Hogan. It’ll be a basic match between a wrestler who can actually move…" Vincent stated as he pointed to himself, "Against a wrestler who’s best offensive move is a three minute windup punch…" he stated as he pointed over to Ramos. It was at that moment Ramos quickly walked forward and snatched the microphone from TV…a big pop from the crowd.

"Let me tell you something Vincent," Ramos said as he got right into the face of TV, "I may not be at my prime, and I may not be able to commit certain moves anymore…but there is one thing I can do just as well as I could back in my prime…and you know what that is Trey?"

TV just grinned and waved off Ramos with his hand, "what?" asked an arrogant Trey Vincent.

"Kick some ass!" and immediately after Ramos’ reply, a right hand connected with Trey’s face that sent the Franchise Player to the ground. The fans blew up in cheers as a dazed Trey got to his feet, only to be floored by another right hand via Brandon Ramos. Trey slowly got up and backed up into the ropes, as Ramos quickly whipped Trey with an irish whip. TV bounced off the ropes and upon his return received a hard forearm to the head that sent TV to the ground once more. Trey had enough and quickly rolled out of the ring, gaining some heat from the fans as he did.

Ramos looked over at the hurt TV, and yelled out, "Look’s like this old timer is kicking your ass!" as he stomped forward and quickly exited the ring. TV was quick to catch Ramos on a lack of defense, as he ran forward and clocked Ramos with a right hand of his own. A shocked Ramos staggered backward, holding his jaw. TV saw the opportunity and sent another right hand into Ramos, followed by a kick to the gut and a snap DDT onto the concrete floor. The fans jeered wildly as TV just stood up and spat upon Ramos, as he re-entered the ring.

Ramos was slowly getting to his feet, as he leaned against the guardrail for some support. TV was quick to exit the ring once more and roll Ramos back into the ring. TV was soon to follow, as he got to his feet and dropped a driving elbow into the back of Ramos’ neck. TV got to his feet and began jaw jacking to the fans, as Ramos continually slammed his feet on the mat, as he held his neck in pain. TV arrogantly walked over to Ramos and pulled the veteran to his feet. TV quickly sent a hard knife-edge chop to Ramos’ chest that sent Ramos to the corner. Once in the corner, Trey walked over to Ramos and began verbally bashing him to his face. Ramos looked helplessly back at TV, as TV pointed his finger in Ramos’ face…and than…

SLAP!

"OOOOH!"

TV bitched slapped Ramos right across the face. TV paid no mind to Ramos, as he smiled at the fans that continually jeered him. Little did TV know, that the slap had awakened Ramos from his hurt state. Ramos’ eyes were wide with rage as he slowly lifted his head and stared directly at TV, who was busy mocking the crowd. It took a few seconds, but Trey had finally returned to face Ramos…and went wide-eyed with fear. Ramos grunted with rage as he grabbed TV by the throat and slammed him into the corner. Ramos began sending boots to Trey’s stomach rapidly over and over again, literally kicking a mud hole into him. Trey helplessly looked up, as every time he did another boot was sent into his chest. Trey crumbled to the mat, as Ramos continued the assault until the official finally broke it up.

As Ramos was forced away, he roared out at the fans that cheered wildly for the veteran of the ring. Trey wiped the sweat from his face and sneered at Ramos. It was at that time that Trey pushed the official aside, and got to his feet. Trey charged forward at Ramos, but was completely shocked as Ramos saw the attempted attack, and proceeded to lift Trey off the mat and down to the floor with a hip toss. Trey quickly shot up and charged once again, this time receiving an arm drag. Trey slammed his fist into the mat and charged one last time, and this time…he was up in the air with a big scoop slam. Trey’s back slammed hard into the mat, as Ramos roared out once again to the crowd.

Trey slowly got to one knee, but was immediately yanked up to his feet by Brandon Ramos. Ramos reared back and nailed a knife-edge chop into Trey’s chest. Trey moaned out in agony, as Ramos nailed the same chop once more. Ramos proceeded to whip Trey to the ropes and hit a hard clothesline to Vincent, knocking the true Sports Entertainer down. Trey was in complete shock, especially as Ramos covered him.

One.

Two.

But Vincent quickly kicked out of the predicament, and rose to his feet. Ramos launched himself into the ropes and charged forward, looking for another lariat. Unfortunately for Ramos, TV saw it coming and quickly ducked the shot. Ramos was forced into the ropes once again, and upon his return, received a vicious spinebuster at the hands of Trey Vincent. The fans jeered as TV looked over at the crowd and smiled arrogantly. Trey than proceeded to slowly lift the veteran off his feet and drive him head first into the mat with a piledriver.

Trey Vincent could only look at the fallen veteran and began kicking his head, as if he was poking him to wake up. Trey just pointed at the veteran and laughed, as he continued to mock him by slapping and nudging the fallen body of Ramos constantly, as the fans jeered wildly. Trey finally decided to end it, as he positioned himself near Ramos’ head and called for the Big Time Fist Drop.

He bounced off the left side of the ring, and hopped over Ramos. He than bounced off the right side, than the south side...hopped over Ramos vertically, and bounced off the final rope, the fans jeered as Trey began to windup his fist, but suddenly...he was cut off. Out of nowhere, Ramos rolled backward, snatched Trey’s leg and brought him down. The fans blew up in cheers, as Ramos flipped over, locking Trey’s leg and bending it backward in a modified single leg crab...better known as the Ramos submission. The fans blew up in cheers as Trey began to scream out in agony, attempting to inch over to the bottom rope. The official constantly asked Trey if he wished to submit, but TV refused to give in, and instead began attempting to power out...but no avail. Brandon Ramos, a ring veteran of submission wrestling, had the leg locked up tight and bent all the way back. TV was screaming in agony, as the official continued to ask if The Franchise Player wanted to give in to the submission. Ramos began to wrench the hold in even further...Trey’s hand went up...

The fans looked on.

"BREAK!" yelled the official, as Trey had finally reached the bottom rope for the break. The fans jeered as Ramos finally released the hold and began to argue with the official. Trey found the opportunity and quickly grabbed the rope and slid himself to the outside of the ring. Ramos saw this, and immediately exited the ring along with Trey. Trey stumbled over to the announcer’s desk, attempting to get to a vertical position with his one working leg. Trey looked helplessly at the cheering fans, and suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. Trey slowly turned around and was hit with a hard right hand. Trey fell face first to the table, as Ramos quickly grabbed Trey by the hair and slammed his face into the announcer’s desk once more.

The fans were electric with excitement, as Trey was literally getting his ass handed to him. Brandon Ramos quickly pried TV off the table and rolled him back into the ring, as the limp TV could only lie there and wait. Ramos quickly bounced off the ropes and landed upon Trey Vincent with a leg drop to the back of the head. Ramos covered once again...

One.

Two.

But still no three count was made, as Trey somehow lifted his shoulder off the mat. Trey was slowly getting to his feet, but suddenly Ramos was on the prowl and quickly locked Trey in a sleeper hold. Trey was quick to react, as he pulled the official forward, distracting the official, as he lifted his leg backward and kicked Ramos directly in the groin. Ramos doubled over in pain, as TV pushed the official away and planted Ramos with a quick snapping DDT that caused Ramos to land on the tip of his skull. The fans let out an "OH!" upon the impact, as TV groggily stood up and staggered to the corner.

The fans began to chant for Ramos to get to his feet, and soon enough the veteran was slowly regaining his composure. TV was quick to attack as he charged forward and floored the legend with a hard clothesline. TV than proceed to pull Ramos up and whip him to the ropes. Ramos looked for a forearm, but TV ducked the shot. Ramos returned once more and was hit with a kick to the gut. Ramos doubled over yet again, as Trey quickly locked Ramos’ arms and planted Ramos with a vicious Double Underhook Face Plant that Trey calls Glass Ceiling. Trey smiled as he quickly hooked the leg...

One.

Two.

Thr...NO!

It was close, it was a very close count, but Ramos had kicked out and suddenly...began to pump up. Trey’s eyes went wide as Ramos began to...oh my god...no sell. Trey attempted to pound into Brandon with a variety of stylish punches...but Ramos wasn’t going down and instead grabbed Trey by the waist and drove him down with a belly to belly suplex. Trey yelled out in pain and quickly rolled out of the ring, but Ramos was quick to follow as he rolled out of the ring and grabbed the Franchise Player. He whipped TV to the guard rail, and a loud "WHACK" was heard upon impact as Trey fell to his knees in utter pain. Ramos proceeded to finally end it and call for the ending. Ramos rolled Trey back into the ring and proceeded to walk over to the announcer’s desk. Ramos smiled as he pulled an attendant off his chair and grabbed the steel in his grasp. The fans cheered wildly as Ramos held the steel up high and proceeded to enter the ring.

Unfortunately for Brandon Ramos, the WWC official would have none of it, and quickly grabbed the steel from Ramos’ grasp. The fans jeered as Ramos protested...but suddenly...

WHAM!

The fans looked on in shock, and jeered immediately after, as Trey had just clocked Ramos with a pair of brass knuckles. They had no idea where Trey retrieved the knucks, but he was quick to throw them out of the ring and position Ramos for the Big Time Fist Drop. Trey bounced off all corners of the ring, and before they knew it...

The windup, the pitch...

The Big Time Fist Drop.

The fans jeered as Trey covered the veteran for the three count, which brought about the return of "All Hail the New Flesh" over the PA System, as a very hurt Trey Vincent slowly exited the ring. TV smiled widely as he raised a single arm in the air, in all his glorious victory. Fans were jeering wildly as Ramos’ skull was cracked open, and blood was spilling upon the mat. The official quickly called over some EMTs, as Trey just looked back and laughed. It was a night for sports entertainment...and in TV’s mind, who better to end that night than Trey Vincent?

Trey Vincent could answer that in one simple word...

Nobody.

Winner: Trey Vincent via pinfall
