Gone too far

PIW Massacre
Dec. 14, 2002

Team EGOControversy. It's a subject that the two members of Team EGO are quite used to by this point in time. After all, just one week ago, after PIW Massacre aired, many smarks in the sports entertainment community slammed the segments. Some claimed the segments failed because it took away the focus of the show from the rest of the roster. Many were upset with the content. Many laughed. Most were entertained. But they all watched. They all talked. But do the boys feel any remorse? Are they going to apologize for their actions?

A somber looking Trey Vincent and Sean Studd sat in their locker room, neither man looking at each other. Was there some tension? Was all the outcry from the sports entertainment community too much for them? As Vincent eyed the ceiling suspiciously and scratched his crotch, Sean Studd thumbed through a swimsuit issue of a magazine and sighed. Yes, they had been watching Massacre all night long on the big TV screen that they had in there, but even the sight of themselves on the screen wasn't enough to make the world right.

"Maybe we should discuss this Trey," Studd said.

"You think?"

"Yah. What is happening just isn't right. Things have gone too far." Studd threw his magazine to the floor and stood up.

Vincent cocked an eyebrow and also stood up. The boys went nose to nose. "Trey Vincent is in total agreement with you. Things have indeed gone too far."

There was a knocking at the door. Studd and Vincent both turned toward it. They nodded.

Outside, stood a man in blue coveralls behind a two-wheeler. On that two-wheeler was a keg of beer.

"It's about damn time!" Vincent said.

"Yeah, how do you expect us to get through this damn show sober? It's so damn boring. And can you believe Mezz and Chavez are in the main event again?" Studd said. "Those two guarantee ratings death more than having the letters I, O and....TREY!"

Vincent, not in the mood for long rants, had tapped the keg and was guzzling plastic cup after plastic cup. "Huh?"

Studd shook his head. "Save some for me!"

Vincent rolled his eyes. The guy in the coveralls piped up: "Umm. That stuff you did last week was funny."

"What we do EVERY week is funny," Studd said. "We are pure entertainment. Speaking of which," Studd said before guzzling down a cup of beer. "What is in store for the fans tonight?"

Vincent and Studd looked at each other.

Luckily enough, a group of three beautiful women walked by Team EGO's door.

"Isn't that convenient," Studd said.

"Man, its just like those commercials. Drink beer and the girls will come."

"Well, let's hope they're not the only ones who come tonight."

The duo nodded at each other with evil grins. "Oh ladies...." Studd called out.
