Trey Vincent vs. Auryn

"MEW Fury" Nov. 11, 2001
From the Tacoma Dome, Tacoma, Washington

Rob: Were back here live at MEWs fourth edition of Sunday Night Fury!

Randy: Thats right, and theres no time to be wasted, lets get right back into it with MEW newcomer Trey Vincent going head to head against Auryn!

("All Hail The New Flesh," by Strapping Young Lad kicks in. After a series of rapid fire explosions, Trey emerges from the back and walks quickly to the ring, looking in every direction as if checking out the area around him, suspicious someone is trying to get him.)

Joe Johnson: This match is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first weighing in at 260 lbs he is The Sports Entertainment Icon, Trey Vincent!

And coming to the ring second, he is the challenger, weighing in at 240 pounds Auryn!

(A gong rings three times as Auryn makes his way to the ring. Trey Vincent wastes no time in taking it to Auryn. As Auryn enters the ring hes abruptly hit with a clothesline from Trey. Auryn, seeming uninjured scrambles back to his feet. Vincent grabs hit by the arm and whips him off the ropes. Auryn bounces back into a big boot.)

Randy: A devastating boot to the face!

(Vincent then picks up Auryn by the hair, but when Auryn gets to his knees, he delivers a low blow to Vincent. Trey falls to the ground holding his crotch as Auryn makes it to his feet, taunting Vincent. He delivers a few swift kick to Treys ribs before Vincent is able to fight back to his feet. Auryn kicks Trey in the gut, so he bends over and goes for a Pile Driver. Vincent flips Auryn over his back and into the ref! With the ref and Auryn down, Vincent climbs out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from the timekeepers booth.)

Rob: Whats he gunna do with that chair?

Randy: Gee Rob, I dont know! Why dont you tell me?!

(Now Vincent is back in the ring with chair in hand. As Auryn slowly makes it to his feet, Vincent prepares to deliver a shot to his head. Auryn stands up, turns around, and Vincent swings the chair but Auryn ducks! As Vincent swings back around trying to hit Auryn, he is hit with a boot to the chair into his face by Auryn! Vincent is now down. Auryn picks up Trey and throws his head under his legs. He signals for a Power Bomb, and then hits a devastating Power Bomb onto the chair. Trey Vincent looks almost dead! Auryn picks up the chair, and then lifts up Vincent in the other hand. Making sure this match is over, he throws Vincent into the ropes and when Trey bounces back he is hit straight in the head with the chair! Auryn goes over to the ref and revives him. He walks back over to Vincent and pins him:

1.

2

3!

Randy: Well that match sucked!

Rob: What an upset!

Randy: That just proves he shouldnt knock the MEW roster huh? He got what he deserves! This Fury blows anyway.

Comments:

Sorry, this was a bullshit finish. No tiptoeing around it. It led me to post on the OOC board, wondering what the hell was going on. Auryn did one promo which read like it was stolen out of a book or a movie. I did one of the funniest promos of my life (Heavens Devils, Trey Vincent is back) which should have won me the match straight out. But whatever. Life goes on and it forced me to have a creative excuse for Trey's performance during the match: he was drunk and sleeping. That's the only way you could explain TV losing to Auryn.

And so it ended before it began....

Trey had another match with "The Final Cut" Exile and Rain (triple threat) and won. The match never "aired." It was a brief spoiler saying TV won after hitting both with Coming Down. Trey was scheduled to fight Dude of Berk at the "Revelation" pay-per-view. Never happened. MEW closed.
