Action! Wrestling

Partial Destruction End

Pressure Point 72
Aug. 18, 2003
Starring Trey Vincent, Sharc, Reed Young & Bait
Writer: John Leary

The sound of "Big Ego's" hit the speakers for Trey Vincent. And he was on his way out, sure. But in a wheelbarrow, not walking. The crowd cheered wildly for the sight. The camera on the Action!Tron flickered to life backstage, where Bait was blocking Young's exit. Though, to be honest, he wasn't really trying to leave the room. Just alternating between looking at Bait and trying to take a nap.

Sharc dumped Vincent's unconscious body on the apron and then shoved him inside. Blood trickled down Vincent's face. Sharc stood over him and stared down for a moment before going for a microphone.

"Just so everybody knows," Sharc said pointing down at Vincent. "This is what we call a victim of stupidity. Trey Vincent. The biggest ego in the business just got popped!"

As he paused, he got some of the cheers he sought.

"This is no longer about who beat who or who has screwed who. This is simply about kicking Vincent's ass for ripping Bait's head open with barbed wire. And this is about getting my wrestling career back. So Reed Young. I'm sick of playing games with Vincent. You are an idiot who should go back to wherever you came from and let people who know how to run this place, do it."

Young stared at the camera for a moment. Then went back, trying to get more nap-time.

"So let's quit jerking people around and do what everybody in Action wants to see. And that's Reed Young get put into the hospital at my hands."

As the crowd cheered for that prospect, Young sat up.

"Nooooooooooooooooo! All you have done was win yourself....ummm....a GAUNTLET MATCH! On NEXT WEEK'S PRESSURE POINT MOTHER...FUCKER!"

"Well, Reed, there isn't a Pressure Point next week. But there is something called Instinct. It's the Pay-Per-View. "

"OMG! That's what I said! I'm not afraid of YOU! I'm the most HARDCORE OWNER ON THE PLANET! On a completely unrelated note...if this coming SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY! Anybody feels the urge to beat the living SHIT out of Sharc, well, YOU'LL GET A BONUS AS TALL AS YOUR BODY! They will likely all be $1 bills, Canadian, but it's still more MONEY! I don't care if you're a cameraman or a masseuse or a vendor or Woodchuck Bill!"

"So, what are you saying? There's a bounty out on me, and I have to wrestle in a Gauntlet Match at the pay-per-view?"

Young looked down at a piece of paper and began scanning it. "YES! IT IS! Tune in, turn on, BEAT THE FUCK OUT! LOLLOLLOL! Vincent will heal because he's a heel! This SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY, EVERYONE IS YOUR ENEMEY. BECAUSE MONEY IS EVIL AND SO IS EVERYBODY! MWAHAHAHAHAHA."

"Laugh now, Reed. As a matter of fact, enjoy everything involving a voice and moving. You got six days left until it all ends."

Sharc dropped the mic and went for Vincent, put him face first on the mat. Deathlock. Chinlock.

Spinebreaker locked in.

Young squinted at the camera, as if he had just entered a Western at high noon. Bait, meanwhile, had moved in closer to Young

"You know, Reed, I'd like you to pose for a picture for me," Bait said, referring to some contracts Young had forged last week. "You don't have to be nude, but you have to be bloody."

She dove over the desk, almost like a Lou Thesz press. Once on top of Young, Bait held up her right hand. Young's eyes opened wide and he moaned.

Bait looked down at him. "Ewwwww!"

She kissed the barbed wire on her fist and began punching the hell out of Young's head.

Once Reed was nice and bloody, she stood up in triumph. Done with Vincent in the ring, Sharc stood triumphant. Revenge was had. But it was only one night. In six days, Sharc would have the chance to end this feud with Young and Vincent and move on. With his pride and all the little things he missed: Merchandise at the stands, his music and lighting.

But he didn't know who he had to go through to get to Young. Vincent, probably. But who else?
