Sneaking Out
PIW Massacre
Nov. 23, 2002
Jamal Wilson sat down in Jim Johnson’s office with a look of worry on his face. No, it wasn’t because Kory Storm was wrestling next, it was because he knew that he wanted to join the crowd. He never was in his life a leader, he was always a follower, and most of the roster leaving the arena and striking dazzled him.
Jim Johnson was looking into his little refrigerator as Jamal sat, thinking about the right escape plan.
"So yeah, he can’t mess with me. I’M THE BOSS, NOT HIM!" Jim Johnson screamed while looking for some ice cream. "HE THINKS HE HAS THE POWER?! Heh, I have all the power. All of it."
Jamal got to his feet and carefully snuck towards the door, peaceful enough not to make a peep of noise.
As he neared the door, Jim Johnson turned around, as soon as he did, Jamal opened the door and ran like a madman.
Jim Johnson looked at the door, slightly ajar, and sighed. You know you hit rock bottom when your closest associates bail on you. He slumped down in his seat, angry and saddened before digging into the ice cream.
Just as Jim Johnson got up to close the door, in entered Sharc. Sharc had his Television title strapped firmly around his waist, and he looked kind of angry. He was loyal to the man that gave him the chance to defeat the Midnight Cowboy in a classic match for the Television Title, so he didn’t bail on him. He knew he was wrestling that night, but against who was the question. With all the striking and workers not working, he didn’t know.
"Who am I facing tonight?" Sharc asked the owner bluntly.
Jim Johnson’s mind was in a scramble. He didn’t want to tell Sharc that he didn’t know who he was facing, this was a loyal guy and he owed it to him to tell him. He knew it wasn’t going to be Jamal, Sharc’s scheduled opponent, because Jamal had bailed on him.
"It's great to hear your loyal.. And just to show you I am loyal.. Im going to make you a star! Forget about the rest of those people.. Sharc your going to be the NEXT PIW Franchise wrestler.. Just think about.. going arena to arena.. Fans wanting your autograph.. Paying just to see you! It will be big.. Bigger then anything you can think of."
Suddenly, Jim Johnson’s thoughts were interrupted by a superstar.
"I’ll face you."
Jim Johnson looked up, and saw Kory Storm, the very man who was hunting Jamal Wilson.
"If the fairy doesn’t want to face you, Sharc, I’d be more than happy to take the match."
Sharc looked at Jim Johnson, who nodded. Sharc then looked at Kory Storm, and muttered "I’ll see you in the ring," before leaving Jim Johnson’s office.
