Two new supervillains
Pressure Point 53
March 17, 2003
Starring Sharc, Bait, Action! Team & Kayden Paulton
It all started so simply. Just a regular walk backstage in search of Kayden Paulton for a surprise visit after his Match. And then the unexpected happened.
They ran into Sharc and Bait.
The ‘they’ being Action! Man and Action! Woman.
“Holy flower power!” A!M said as Sharc and Bait passed by.
“Yeah“ A!W replied. “Look at that guy, Action! Man. His hair needs a really good poser artist! That style went out three poser programs ago!”
“What did you just say to my man, bitch?” Bait said to A!W.
Sharc didn’t even wait to hear the stupid line again. He punched A!W right in the jaw, knocking her down. That was when Bait charged at A!M and took him down with a headbutt to his groin area. The intergender beat down was on. Bait stomping and punching down on A!M as Sharc picked up A!W and rammed her face first into the wall.
“Excuse me.”
Neither Bait nor Sharc heard those two words the first time.
“Um. Sharc and Bait!” The voice called again.
They paused and turned around.
“Hey all... sorry if I’m interrupting anything... ‘cause this is important too and all, but, Action! Man and Action! Woman had a Match today and they seem really tired,. Maybe this beating could be... um... held off until tomorrow? If that’s okay.” Yes, it was Kayden Paulton.
Sharc and Bait began stomping away on the unrendered duo again.
“Maybe... um... maybe could you two think about stopping, maybe? Sometimes violence isn’t the answer.”
Sharc and Bait stopped and turned around.
“Wanna play? Let’s make a deal.”
“Sure! Deals are cool!”
“We’ll stop beating up these jobbers for now. But here’s the deal. Me and Bait like beating these two up. It’s fun. And I had a lot of fun beating you up too.”
“Yay! I’m glad to hear it!” Paulton smiled. “I needed the beating too. And having you in Action, is just... AWESOME~!”
Sharc paused, staring at him for a moment. “Right. So, ‘Make It Or Break It’. How about you three losers team up to fight me and Bait. Three-on-two. It should at least give you a two percent chance of beating us.”
“Three-on-two? Gee, I don’t know if that’s fair for you.”
Sharc and Bait stared at each other and laughed.
“Kayden, bring your comedy jobber team and pathetic you, and we’ll show you that nobody can fight Sharc and Bait... and win.” Bait said.
After a couple more stomps, Sharc and Bait brushed by Paulton and headed elsewhere.
“Okay then, see you guys next week! Can’t wait!”
