Starring Kayden Paulton & Sharc
{JOINED IN PROGRESS Kayden Paulton vs. The Ringer}
But this time, it was way too late. The bell went, his theme song played... for Kayden Paulton was the victor in this one, and everyone would be enjoying that. Watt took KP’s hand and raised it to the cheers of the Fans, as The Ringer spat on the ramp before fleeing the scene...
Then everything went dark. There was no music at first, just a mixture of booing and cheering by the fans, as they really didn't know what was going on. Then up on the big screen was lit up with gray static and the hissing sound was heard. Then the opening riff and drum combo played over and over again, growing louder and louder. Some might recognize the song from last week's show, "Pisschrist" by Fear Factory.
Paulton's figure could still be seem in the ring.
Louder. Louder. Louder. Louder.
Silence.
Black.
The fans were pretty much silent.
The black lasted for about ten seconds.
Then the lights came on.
Kayden Paulton was no longer alone in the ring.
There was a bit of a pop from some of the fans in the crowd who recognized the man now sharing space in an Action! ring. This man was a former PIW Hardcore and Television Champion. He stared at Paulton through long strands of blood red hair. He wore a shirt with his image on the front with the words You Can't Fight God and You Can't Fight Sharc.
Worn by Sharc.
He stared coldly at Paulton, clutching his favorite weapon, a 2x4 in both his hands like a Samurai-sword, reading to split Paulton's skull into two halves.
He appeared deadly serious. But Paulton? Well, Kayden Paulton was still Kayden Paulton. A big smile on his face. He extended his hand to Sharc, as if to welcome Sharc to the federation.
Sharc raised his eyebrows and a smile crept across his face.
That was when he raised the board.
CRACK!
And hit the top of Paulton's skull with it. Paulton fell to his knees, so Sharc pulled the board back and cross-checked him in the throat with the board, sending him to the mat.
Sharc stared down at Paulton for a few seconds before he raised his head and looked around at the booing crowd. Those few fans who had popped for Sharc's return to the big-time now remembered that he was a man not to be cheered. With his cold black eyes, he spun around to every side of the arena, raising his arms in the air, and raising the board in triumph in his right hand.
Then the lights went out again.
