Ride of Your Life: II
Pressure Point 59
May 5, 2003
Starring: Kayden Paulton, Dominic & Bruno
They sat in the limousine as it cruised down the long highway. They being Dominic and Bruno.
Kayden was standing with his head out of the sunroof.
He was hooting and hollering and having a grand old time when Dominic pulled him back down to the seated position beside him. Kayden looked at him, waiting for what he had to say. It must be important for him to stop him having so much fun.
"I got a little message from Fiend, you wanna hear it?" Said Dominic.
Paulton smiled. "Yeah, sure. Where is he anyway? I wanted to tell him what a great swerve that was last week!"
"We’ll pass on the message. He’s just, uh, out of town. He wanted to say..." Dominic stopped as though he was thinking.
And Kayden was excited. A limo ride and now a special message from Fiend! This was a good night.
Bruno reached across and grabbed him, punching Paulton in the jaw.
"Fiend wanted to say ‘fuck off and leave me alone’ I think were the words." Said Dominic.
Bruno smashed another brutal fist into Kayden’s cheek, as Paulton fell back, against the side of the limo door. His face was red, as Dominic and Bruno looked at each other, grinning.
But Paulton did the same.
"Sorry guys. I guess I did deserve that." He rubbed the side of his face, as his nerves were shot from the two punches he received. "You guys hit pretty hard!"
Bruno rubbed his knuckles, warming them as if he were about to hit Paulton again. He was getting a little pissed off coz this guy was so damn agreeable.
"Do you understand what we're trying to say, Kayden? He doesn't want you hanging off of him like you are. He thought giving you that pinfall last week would get you off his back, but it appears you like being on his back," Dominic suggestively said.
Kayden looked at him as though he didn't understand.
Bruno slapped his forehead.
"STOP HERE!" he shouted to the front.
He turned to Kayden.
"Leave him the fuck alone."
The door swung open and Bruno shoved Kayden out of the vehicle, leaving him out on the side of the highway in the middle of the woods somewhere.
Kayden watched as the door slammed and the limo drove off.
He grinned.
"They were cool. Imagine me meeting real henchmen. WOW!"
