Bait vs. Kayden Paulton

Pressure Point 55
April 7, 2003

"Silver Jet" played, meaning it was time for Kayden Paulton to come out smiling and enjoying every bit of fun with his fans in the crowd. And everyone seemed to love him, giving him a very nice pop. He was one of the most likable people on the Action roster, after all.

Once he was in the ring, the lights in the arena changed to blood red, as "Disciple" began playing. Not for Sharc this night, but instead for his valet, Bait.

Is there any doubt this is a gigantic mismatch? Bait, at 5-7, 125 pounds, may be small, but is quite resourceful. And Kayden at 6-4, 266 pounds, seems to be the favorite.

Well, there is one evening out factor. That would be the man playing her valet tonight. Sharc. And that word valet is used quite loosely with him. The clothing pretty much tells you he ain't no valet.

Once they hit the ring, the referee asked Sharc to get out of the ring, but Kayden was, strangely, a bit of a deterring factor.

"Oh, c'mon ref. I'm sure he won't cause any problems if he stays in the ring, just glaring at me like that! How are you doing tonight, Sharc?"

"Fuck you."

"And you Bait?"

"You're so dead."

"Hehehe. OK then."

The bell sounded and Sharc headed to the floor voluntarily.

"Now, Bait, are you sure you want to do this? Not that I don't think you can, but, well…"

"Will you quit staring at my breasts!"

SLAP! And then she followed that slap up with several hard punches. While most people depend on skill for wrestling, Bait depends on anger and adrenaline, which some would consider far more dangerous to deal with in the ring. The punches, amazingly, backed Kayden into the corner.

Then, Bait hit a spin kick, connecting with his jaw. His head rocked, but he didn't go off his feet. Bait wound up, but Kayden blocked the punch. And threw her nearly all the way across the ring with a powerful hiptoss.

Sharc got up on the apron.

"Hey Sharc, what's up, buddy?"

Sharc responded with a middle finger.

"That's not nice. Do you flip your mother off with that finger?"

That's when Bait tried for a bulldog on Kayden. But, it didn't quite work, since she didn't have enough momentum to take him down. So Kayden fell backward, turning her offensive move against her, landing in a belly to back suplex of sorts.

Kayden went for a cover, which made Sharc almost lose it. "GET OFF OF HER!"

"Well, Sharc," he said, still having her in a pinning predicament, "that's kind of the point of wrestling, hehe. No offense intended."

But the referee was busy trying to keep Sharc out of the ring, so he couldn't make the count. So what did Bait do? Poked Kayden in the eye.

"Hey! That's my eye!"

"Then you probably won't like this part."

Oh yes, a testicular claw. If he could have said a word, it would have been "Owww" or "let go, please," but instead it was a silent scream. Until she got on top of Kayden. Sharc got off the apron and the referee came around to make a cover.

Until he saw where her hand was. And stopped the count and started a new one to force her to let go of the move. She did, and then tried to pin Kayden, but he shoved her off easily.

"You know…" Kayden started. "You don't…have to…resort to…cheating…you are very talented, Miss Bait."

"Shut up."

She came for a clothesline but got a superkick!

ONE!

TWO!

Sorry. That ain't gonna happen. Sharc simply pulled Kayden Paulton off of Bait and turned him around so they were face to face. Kick to the gut, DDT. The bell sounded.

You'd hope that would be it. but no. That's not the way Sharc works. He told Bait to get a table. So she did. She started to slide it in, but was told to set it up on the floor. So she did. Sharc dragged Kayden over to the ropes where the table waited on the floor.

Sharc got out on the apron and looked down at the table. He told Bait to move it back a little further up the opening in the aisle. She obliged.

It appeared as though he were about to try for a rather unique version of a superplex, as he climbed up onto the middle of the middle rope and then dragged Kayden up to join him.

The fans all rose, all waiting to see somebody get hurt. But with this set-up, it was likely two people would get hurt. Sharc would be falling onto the concrete, while Kayden would go through a table and then to the concrete.

That was the plan at least.

Kayden tripped, which completely fucked Sharc, who lost his balance and fell backward and the back of his head banged on the table.

It didn't break.

And he didn't move. Bait just stared at Sharc in horror as a few in the crowd chanted "you fucked up."

He had. Bait ran to him and threw the table aside, screaming at him. But he wasn't responding. No doubt, he had just suffered a concussion. That's when the referee called for help from the back and the cameras cut away.

Winner by DQ: Kayden Paulton
